South East Good Governance Coalition (SECG) has hailed some leading South South South Zone leaders led by Chief Edwin Clark for supporting the South East as he seeks to bring the President of Nigeria to power following the term of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
Clark told the Ohaneze Ndigbo delegation, headed by its President General, George Obiozor, that “We want the Chairperson to come after Buhari from south-east, we are together.”
Emmanuel Okwu told newsmen in Awka that he deserved to praise Dr. Clark “for taking the road to reality and equité.” He said he deserved to be praised.
“Dr. Clark has shown himself to be a real statesman who won’t compromise the facts. He’s a strong fan of equity. And for this we highly commend him.
“We also respect his courage to speak the truth, and we call on South East leaders to be inspired by Dr Clark’s immutable words.
Okwu ordered the leadership of Igbo to begin in 2023 with the untiring agitation he identified as viable for the Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction.
“We’re not supposed to lower the ante. The agitation to create the president of the Nation must begin. It’s not a task or a mission impossible.
“We have to unite as one, and in this quest never waive,” said Okwu.
